25-year-old female, Ultra-Helical CT scan of the lungs was performed. FIRST, Forward projected model-based Iterative Reconstruction SoluTion was implemented into the scan protocol and automatically applied to the scan. 3D Volume Rendered and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) demonstrate multiple tumors in both left and right pulmonary lobes.

55-year-old female, Abdomen and Pelvic CT with and without intravenous iodinated contrast was performed in arterial and portal venous phases demonstrated in the Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR). SUREExposure, automated mA modulation and FIRST, Forward projected model-based Iterative Reconstruction SoluTion were embedded into the protocol and automatically applied to the scan. The effect of FIRST is demonstrate in the MPR, original and FIRST comparison. FIRST provides improved spatial resolution with greater than 80% dose reduction. As an incidental finding, spine curved MPR demonstrate L4-L5 disc degeneration, osteophyte formation and other osseous alterations.
